Description
The symbols that represent the history of Germany and Israel serve as stark reminders of the atrocities of the past. In order to express the strong modern-day relations and the optimistic outlook on the two nations’ shared future, we need a new kind of symbol.
Execution
With Mazelprost, we developed an entire brand. Working with the Research and Teaching Institute for Brewing in Berlin, we formulated the first-ever recipe that combines hummus and beer. We also designed an interactive bottle that makes every toast a symbol of German–Israeli friendship. We then launched the drink in both countries.
Outcome
Mazelprost got people everywhere talking about the German–Israeli friendship – at events and on social media. Reports appeared in the key media of both countries (including BILD and Channel 2) and Europe’s largest Jewish museum even added the beverage to its collection.
