Background
Delivery services are growing in Germany. The competition is advertising their product heavily in radio and audio media. McDonald’s was looking for an audio idea that cut through the noise and promote its own McDelivery service.
Execution
A 05 second radio spot that is incredibly memorable, using the well-known McDonald’s jingle only this time re-created from sounds of real doorbells. So strikingly recognizable, not even a brand name needs to be mentioned to make sure everyone knows who’s behind the message.
Outcome
The McDonald’s jingle "I'm lovin’ it" has burned itself into our global collective memory. When you hear it, you instantly think of Big Macs, French fries & McNuggets. We used this powerful brand recognition to communicate their fast McDelivery service in a unique and entertaining way by using real sounds of common doorbells to re-create the well-known letting brand jingle. During the campaign period orders spiked on the McDelivery App spiked significantly.
