Description
We found through the search that some months in history had champion athletes born everyday (for real). And used this insight to promote BandSports 24/7 broadcast. Inviting viewers to follow the best Olympic Sports and not miss the chance to see a new champion.
Execution
Design elements and their integration
We illustrated calendars to show that athletes are born everyday. We used medals to represent their achievements in the year that Brazil is going to host the Olympics for the first time in history
The names of the athletes play an important role in all this, because many times they are idols in their modalities.
We used medals of every kind to show the achievements of the athletes, building a calendar. We also showed on the top part of each calendar, a different decade.
Through the process, we arduously researched all of the athletes’ names and illustrated the calendar with their medals.
Outcome
We showed that the sports channel is 24/7.
We introduced many sports and champions to people.
Since we’re hosting the Olympics in Brazil, this poster campaign brings people closer to sport.
The access to the channel had a 12% increase since the campaign’s launch.
The execution of the campaign fulfilled the briefing, bringing the people closer to sports and showing that Band Sports is 24/7.
Encourage practicing and seeking other Olympic sports.
