Description
Overfishing, pollution and climate change threaten marine life. As the only environmental organization with its own fleet, Greenpeace can make a stand onsite in defence of the seas and their inhabitants.
The organization’s goal is to protect 40% of the world's oceans by declaring them marine reserves.In the spot, a blue whale skeleton covered with just 1.7% of the living animal’s flesh swims by; a poignant reminder that the stocks of many marine species have dwindled alarmingly.
The ad uses the remains of blue whales as emblematic of the many other marine creatures threatened by over fishing.
