Background
Personalized ads on Meta’s platforms are an essential tool for small-business owners and creators, allowing them to reach people with relevant interests in an affordable and effective way.
But the problem is, when given a choice, most people opt out of personalized ads.
We needed to move the conversation away from data sharing, and show people that personalized ads are a way for them to find great ideas that they never knew existed. Ideas that are perfectly tailored to them. Ideas that would have never been found if not for personalized ads.
Execution
The “Good Ideas Deserve to be Found” campaign showcased the value of Meta Personalized Ads by elevating the moment someone discovers a new small business idea in their feed.
Sharing our OOH placements with four real small businesses who advertise on Meta platforms, each illustration celebrates the moment someone finds their product or services while scrolling through their feed.
For example, a woman with a sweet-tooth finds a delicious organic honey business, “Frank’s Honey,” and is instantly transported from her bedroom floor to the inside of a beehive with friendly honeybees and walls dripping with raw honey.
Acclaimed artist Ignasi Monreal created our faux-oil canvases in a renaissance style to elevate the simplest moment of discovery to a life-changing revelation. These boards were then displayed in traditional OOH placements, animated digital screens, and hand-painted murals across multiple markets.
Outcome
These billboards reached folks in 3 major cities and recorded approximately 228,967,747 impressions.
