Description
To generate excitement during the Windows Server 2008 pre-launch and drive trial through Beta downloads, we created an online community for our IT Pro and Developer audiences. Members could upload a picture of themselves to a centralised, globally linked microsite where all their faces morphed together to create the interactive global face of the Windows Server 2008 community. On the microsite they could also download the Beta and share their experiences with colleagues worldwide.Results: 7284 Beta downloads, 4284 (243%) above target. The campaign went global to 28 countries (10+ languages). Population 9605 (3203 faces) world-wide.
