Description
Transforming an analogue synthesizer to a digital product, with a lowered cost from 3,500 dollars to 5 dollars, which makes it possible for aspiring musicians everywhere to experience the Moog possibilities.
Also transforming Moog Music as a brand further into the digital age.
Execution
We wanted to recreate the Minimoog’s iconic look, design, feel and sound to the very last detail. The app even maintains the original knobs and scratches, translated into a modern digital product.
The result is a digital experience optimised for tablets but also suitable for smartphones for a truly mobile and portable tool. It’s a fully responsive musical experience that our insight driven design process made possible.
Outcome
The positive results has been pouring in since the release - the app went directly into App Store’s “New apps we love” and has remained it’s position for several weeks in a row. Industry leading media outlets like The Verge, Engadget and Resident Advisor has featured articles about the app.
What once occupied a desk now fits in a pocket.
