Description
Head and Body is the first entertainment series especially created for mobile devices to be launched on a global scale. Produced for MTV and Motorola, the eight mobisodes follow the adventures of a character whose head is detached from his body. The content needed to appeal to a global audience, be viewable on extremely small screens, with limitations on length due to varying download capabilities. We feel the concept met all these demands, while still appealing to the MTV target demographic with its storytelling.
Execution
On October 20 2005, the eight mobisode series was disseminated through MTV Networks International's mobile distribution channels and via Motorola's web site, www.hellomoto.com, in markets across the Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Europe. In the United States, MTV Networks' Comedy Central is also distributing the content. More information regarding local distribution is available at www.headandbody.com.
