Description
This is a film depicting the grueling progression of melanoma in a teenage girl. But it begins at the end of her life, as she lies face up in the hospital bed. Then in reverse, the film relives the moments of her unfortunate reality. From shaving her head, to losing her hair, to receiving her prognosis, to noticing her mole, to the unwitting moment where her cancer journey began, as a young girl innocently sunbathing on the beach. The film concludes with the startling fact that just five sunburns can increase anyone's risk of melanoma by 80%.
