Santander Bank, N.A. launched a new checking account promoted through a major TV campaign featuring Robert De Niro; the account pays customers $20 every month just for banking as they usually do. The centerpiece, “Movie Marathon,” depicts a humorous encounter between an unknown moviegoer and De Niro as they watch the Oscar-winning actor's performances together in a local movie theater.
