Description
While it is easy to design a logo for any musical event, the brief asked us to bring two aspects of the event together – music and the fact the event was being held against the backdrop of a bird sanctuary.
Execution
After toying with a lot of ideas where we had a forest/birds in the backdrop and a musician/musical instrument in the foreground, finally at a point the two elements of the event just fused into one, beautifully! The final logo is shape of a gramophone that represents all things musical, beautifully merged, with the shape of a peacock – India's national bird.
Outcome
The event was a huge success and posters generated a lot of conversation. We believe we created something iconic that will pop up in people's heads every time 'Flock!' is mentioned in any conversation.
