Description
Coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the Guernica Bombing, the client requested a campaign to commemorate this event and celebrate the importance of our past, present and future. This campaign would also have to include the Muy Historia magazine spirit, which is a reflection of the history, treated with rigour and quality.
Execution
This work is part of the 'History makes History' concept. With this concept, what we are trying to tell is how a historical event is able to have a bearing on history, and create a new historical event. We wanted to show the chain of events in Modern History behind the bombing of Guernica, taking Picasso’s painting as a visual reference, due to the importance in our popular belief of this iconic work. We have tried to show, through this graphic work, the combination of facts that led to the bombing on April 26th.
Outcome
This work is meant to be aired next week, coinciding with the 75th Anniversary of the Guernica Bombing. We do not have results at the moment of submitting it to the festival.
