Execution
The project started with a casting call via the ViennaTourism Facebook Page. The winner was Pilar form Spain – a Video journalism student from Valencia who spent a semester in Vienna.
Simultaneously we were looking for five real persons that could represent the brand building blocks.
Together with the locals, we organised each perfect day – which should contain at least 5 “secret“ tips.
During each video, the users can:
- switch hosts
- get more information & panoramic views
- take pictures during the videos & share them
- collect trophies and become a Vienna expert
Outcome
The results were amazing:
- 113,000 unique users within the first month
- 2m videoviews
- 15,000 interactions on the website
Bloggers and marketeers were writing about the project. Our locals and the “locations” we visited shared the project
(e.g. Museumsquartier, Kunstkammer in the KHM, …).
