Description
The film translates the complex endeavor involved in making a cup of superior coffee into a simple and touching story, with the message that being a craftsman means having one thing in life you truly love and devoting yourself to it for a lifetime. The story features two craftsmen—one making coffee and the other making glassware. Through adept cinematography, the audience can compare the beauty of making these two different crafts and get a better understanding of the craftsmanship spirit, a common spirit shared by two very different worlds. The story ends with a surprise, revealing that the two craftsmen have been life-long friends. Showing them both aged but still passionate about what they do, it touches the audience by demonstrating their pursuit of progress hidden within monotony. They together present “a cup of craftsmanship” as the well-crafted NESCAFE Gold coffee is served in a well-crafted glass coffee cup.
