Background

These six-second films are a continuation of Pedigree’s ongoing “Feed the good” campaign, which is based on the simple, yet universal truth that dogs bring out the good in us. And, in turn, Pedigree feeds the good that dogs bring to the world.

Execution

A girl walks up the front path to her porch with a bag of groceries.

Inside the house her friend is ecstatic to see her arrive.

Through the glass window at the top of the door, the friend leaps up and down chanting.

“You’re home! You’re home! I missed you! Hi!”

It’s the kind of enthusiasm barely reserved for a person returning from a two-year stint overseas, let alone a trip to the grocery store.

The jumping and celebrating continues until the super reveals why the girl inside is so excited to see her friend return.

“You’ve never met anyone like a dog.”

By showing how unusual this behavior is for a human, it helps demonstrate just how highly enthusiastic, loving and loyal a dog can be.
