OVERVIEW

Description

When the the police swept homeless people from the streets for Super Bowl, we used Google Street View to show football fans and tourists the truth. Homeless people are all over San Francisco and are spotted on Google Street View. We turned those exact images into posters that could be printed from NotSoSuperSF.com and posted in the same spots where homeless people had been removed from. Because when we hide homeless people for one game, no one wins.

Execution

We turned those exact images into posters that could be printed from NotSoSuperSF.com and posted in the same spots where homeless people had been removed from. Because when we hide homeless people for one game, no one wins.

Outcome

The project lasted less than a week and the site registered around 1000 prints.

Our posters not only took the places where homeless people were removed from, but also were used as banners during anti-Super Bowl protests.
