Execution

We formed a digital only media strategy covering Facebook, Twitter, football/sports web sites with a radio spot exception.

In the application, we provided fans with 25 matches of several football clubs, throughout the 3 periods of the campaign (01 October-28 November).

Users commentated the matches, recorded their videos and send them to evaluation of the jury led by “Sabri Ugan”, well-known commentator in Turkey, who has commentated many Champions League for years.

Throughout the campaign, 11 novice commentators got the chance to watch Champions League matches with a friend: Galatasaray-Kopenhag, Barcelona-Milan, Galatasaray-Juventus and Real Madrid-Galatasaray.

Outcome

We’ve added about 55.000 new fans to our page with the application and its viral effect.

Our Facebook posts got 12.045 likes, 1.409 comments, 894 shares.

Based on Facebook Insights, our contents reached more than 7.5 million users, took more than 10 million impressions and interaction of 325.041. We reached masses with low costs and fulfilled our objectives excessively:
