Background
After a long time Pepsi wanted to bring their creative mojo back to football. Pepsi's main objective was to become the most talked-about brand during the biggest sports moment in the world.
Therefore, we needed to find a way in a landscape full of restrictions.
Execution
Ambitions are high when you are shooting with iconic players such as Messi, Ronaldinho, and Pogba. One of the biggest challenges of this project was timing, not only because of the tight shooting schedule but also the stars’ availability and location. Also, the cast was formed by influencers and football experts, freestylers, parkour specialists, and 200 extras. After an extensive search for locations, we shot in three different cities: Paris, Turin and Marrakesh, where we found our ideal place for shooting. Not only did we have to endure the extreme summer temperature of Morocco, but also caught the 2022 European heat wave. A part of the production was carried out in set using a green screen, which meant coordinating rehearsals and postproduction. It was certainly an amazing experience that required a great production team, careful planning, technical expertise and a strong creative vision to ensure a memorable piece.
