OVERVIEW

Description

Information technology managers are regularly serenaded with rich offers. We didn’t think that throwing an expensive gift at them was necessarily going to get Grand & Toy’s message across.

We went online to do the job.We released a reality-style viral video about the lives of two fictional “IT Cops,” following our heroes as they patrol the corridors and back aisles of their office. They’re in control, they’re savvy, and they’re cool – sort of. Shot in a journalistic “you-are-there” style, various incidents are intercut with interview footage. Our fearless actors were comedy improv pros.

Outcome

Let’s give our client Matthew Biswas, Database Marketing Manager for Grand & Toy, the last word: “We knew that if we could get them to laugh at themselves but still reinforce the message that we understand the challenges they face every day, they would respond. Response has been great and we’ve even heard a few stories from them that would have made great scenes for the video.” We’re not ruling out a sequel…
