Description
Everyone uses Office. But few people go beyond the basics. Our objective was to show that anyone can do incredible things using Office resources.
Facebook was the natural environment for our campaign because of its reach and relevance with the target. So we created an app that turned users’ life stories into amazing Office files. Using the content in users’ timelines, the app generated three different files for download. An impressive magazine created entirely in Word. A multimedia presentation created in PowerPoint. Or a spreadsheet in Excel with 3D graphs based on the user’s personal statistics.
Execution
Facebook was the natural environment for our campaign because of its reach and relevance with the target. Officebook was activated on several channels, on and offline. High value consumers and influencers received a direct mailing with a special offer and even more special content - an offline version of their own lifes.
During the campaign period, the files had a bonus content: an exclusive coupon offering the Office package for less than US$100.
Outcome
Combined with other retail tactics, the campaign generated a 40% increase in online leads and a 28% increase in store traffic.
