The Official Website for MGM's BE COOL, not only defined the online presence and personality of the film, but significantly influenced the entire theatrical marketing campaign.
In a major studio first, aspects of the website were featured prominently in the film's theatrical trailer, and the homepage of the website was the influence for an entire outdoor campaign. Viral components of the website allowed consumers to enter sweepstakes, learn more about the film, and even create their own music video featuring the cast and music from the film.
