Execution

The result of the stop-motion concept was a content, which was meant to attract and likewise evoke strong emotions within photo-enthusiastics through its technique and way of production:Two weeks of shooting, about 20 locations, and over 60,000 photos were made. After a selection, 8,600 photos were developed and 1,800 pictures were finally laid.

The story is based on a man´s life, beginning in the 1950s until this day reflecting the last 50 years of photography. Every decade has its own colour code. Then the sorted photos were laid down in the room picture for picture. Displayed in fast-motion you can see the video that is now online on YouTube.

The making was inspired by the japanese stop-motion artist Takeuchi Taijin.
