Description
The concept was for the San Francisco Convention & Visitor’s Bureau (SFCVB) to provide a non-traditional online guided tour of the main neighbourhoods of the city (The Mission, Chinatown, North Beach, etc).
The SFCVB site offers many trip-planning tools and lists for use. The results were visits to off-the-beaten-path shops, restaurants and cultural attractions. The site's navigation is an encapsulated day (morning to night) of a walking tour and the 2 main paths of navigation are time and location. The user can follow the walking tour along key stops that also offer behind-the-scenes glimpses of the sites, including photos, videos and 360 degree views
