Description
The briefing was to create an identity for a worldwide open source TV channel that is about a new generation of cultural and creative production. An independent brand, committed to talent and creativity, based on an open source model, without faces, reporters, studios or TV hosts. The creators and their work have the leading role.
Execution
The multi-screens of Channel 180 is an iconic visual system and not just a corner badge. It is actual fabric for the channel - a distinctive matrix for content, idents and self-promotional pieces (also user generated via openID), inspired by status/message fields with a chromatic nod to screen's DNA (RGB).
