Description

We built Optus House.

A world’s first fully immersive and interactive home like retail space. Optus House showcases IoT by letting visitors interact with smart home technology in relaxed and everyday contexts.

Execution

Optus House is inhabited by a virtual family that interact with visitors via floor-to-ceiling 8K screens. A vast library of experiences can run without any interaction from visitors making the family alive and active 24/7.

An entire new ecosystem was created using IoT protocols, and a custom app was created to trigger the devices in sequence. Visitors can trigger IoT devices in real-time, and the family reacts with relevant and playful scenes.

Optus House allows devices and functionality to be integrated seamlessly, making it the go-to destination for experiencing connected IoT technology.

• Illusion of seamless connection between real & virtual spaces using sight lines and interior design

• Custom commands created in partnership with Google Home to trigger the experiences
