Background
The project aimed to create a memorable Super Bowl commercial for OREO, leveraging the cultural significance of the event and the large stage the work would be showcased on. The colour brief called for distinct visual differentiation between various time periods, ensuring a cohesive narrative flow throughout and embodying the essence of the OREO brand. The objectives were to captivate viewers, evoke nostalgia, enhance each of the scenes while showcasing the cookie and reinforcing OREO's brand identity.
Execution
Colour grading is a fundamental part of the filmmaking process, where the colourist manipulates the visual aesthetic of the footage to enhance the storytelling and evoke emotional responses from the audience. It involves adjusting colour, contrast, saturation, and other parameters to achieve the desired look and mood, and support the creative vision.
