Description
The BC Children’s Hospital was already too small when it was built back in 1982. Over the years, the population has grown, technology and equipment has gotten bigger, surgical teams have gotten larger and survival rates have increased. To put it simply, the hospital had run out of space.
Execution
In the past, the hospital hadn’t come out and said that space was an issue for them. We decided to bring the problem to the forefront and make the whole campaign about space - or their lack thereof. The posters are a simple demonstration of the space the hospital is currently operating in.
Outcome
The hospital reached its goal of $60 million, and is well on its way to starting construction of a new building.
