By using Google Photos and Google+, we managed to raise awareness for PARISTORIES through social networks but we also allowed ourselves the simplest way to gather, source and curate the largest amount of content possible.
We based the whole PARISTORIES technology on Google+, so the main challenge of PARISTORIES was to organise everything in coherent timeline. At any given moment, fans should see what happened away from the pitch, as if they were inside the stadium.
Furthermore, using Google+ makes PARISTORIES an evolving experience, where great content is added as it's uploaded, building a stronger picture along the way.
Outcome
10 times the capacity of the Parc des Princes joined the experience.
5 millions fans watched the related video on Youtube.
The average time spent on the platform was 1:30 minutes.
PARISTORIES will become a new viewing experience standard, scaled to other sports teams around the world.
