Description
A young doll factory employee, sick to death of the female stereotype reflected in the faultless and shapely miniature women she helps to churn out, decides to put into practice a clever and amusing plan. To steal a single doll from the factory, to give it a real make over.
On her way home, she seeks inspiration by focusing on “real women”, like herself. Housewives, professional mums, loyal friends, and romantic dreamers.
So, after a long evening’s work in her workroom, punctuated by a delicious supper of Pavofrío, she breathes life into a different doll, a real and beautiful doll.
Her plan is completed when, next day, she manages to put the doll back on the conveyor belt at the gigantic factory, to mingle with the perfect little blonde-haired dolls.
Finally, some days later, a little girl, browsing along the shelves in the toyshop, will have the chance to choose that different doll, and begin to “fuel” the ideals of another female model.
