Description
Our two main challenges were: not to be lame, and to make people feel really special.?We decided to be personal and the best way to do that was to make handmade gifts out of the instruments that Play It Again used over the 25 years and handmake letters that told the most intimate stories of the company. There was no machine or luthier that could do what we wanted, so we had to do it ourselves.??
Execution
After a lot of failing prototypes, we finally found the best part of the instruments to transform into flash drives: tuning pegs. It not only looked beautiful and handmade, but it also made it clear that we worked for it in every detail.??
Outcome
We are a picky industry. Every agency out there is and was our target. Our Pieces of Memory were not only loved by the industry, but they were also wanted. We received hundreds of requests for more flash drives. Agencies, clients, and our biggest reward: even competitors called asking for one.
