South Africa is known for wildlife like rhinos, lions and elephants. They are part of the country's heritage. They are even on the bank notes. Yet every day they are threatened by poaching, hunting and habitat destruction. So we showed South Africans a glimpse of life without them. We insulted the nation's pride by taking ads for actual foreign zoos and flighting them on local stations.
