Description
Microsoft recently launched a powerful new version of their Pocket PC operating system that transformed Pocket PC devices into wonderful tools for the Enterprise arena. They needed a demo that could clearly communicate these Enterprise features both on the web and on the devices themselves. This needed to be done in a compelling way that worked as well in the hands of an end-user as in the hands of an MS presenter. Microsoft needed the demo to have an interactive mode (for end-users), and an auto-running mode (for trade show booths). They also needed to give MS presenters quick access to available features when giving live demos and answering questions.
Fallon worked with Microsoft to identify which features of the new OS to highlight. The result was a rich, engaging Flash interface that took over the entire screen on the device, and demonstrated each feature in the form of small vignettes and supportive copy that ran as well on the device as on the web. It was also very popular with Microsoft’s own presenters.
