We placed our message right between other recycling containers – as a recycling container itself: the first “Car Recycling Drop Box” in the world. With that idea we were able to focus on people, who are seriously interested in recycling, because they’re already used to do. Beside that the situation was perfect to get our message simply and quickly across. Furthermore we invited people right there to visit the website to get more information about Volkswagen’s recycling programme.
Outcome
During the action period of two weeks nearly 5,000 people got the message. And everybody we reached belonged to our target group.
