Description
The alliance between Nike and Philips, to create the first of a new generation of portable audio players, provided Blast Radius with the opportunity to develop a compelling Internet strategy in support of the Portable Sport Audio (psa) products. Much like the products themselves, the site has a clean, stylish design, and is simple and intuitive to use. With keen attention to information design, and brand and content strategy, Nike-Philips.com is an effective customer and product support website. The site clearly communicates the appeal of the products and generates excitement for them.Taking a direct and focused approach, product images play a key role on pages. Inspiring visuals and writing are used to convey the products’ intention to enrich an athlete’s experience and to motivate athletes with music. A variety of other features, such as an interactive Flash demo, are used to build brand awareness and reduce any anxiety associated with using high-tech devices. Additional product support is given by way of a 3D product image view, software downloads and upgrades, online user guides, facts, and questions and answers. As well, the site is translated in the following eight languages: Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish.
