OVERVIEW

Description

Portraits Completed. The most famous portraits ever painted have one thing in common: they only show iconic, inspiring people from the waist up. At KIWI® we have a different idea of greatness; we believe it starts from the ground up. That's why we decided to create the ‘missing’ bottom halves of 10 masterpiece portraits. Shoes became the main characters of the newly painted bottoms. The whole experience aimed to convey the message that KIWI®, the world’s number one shoe care brand, is fully committed to providing products of the highest quality.

Execution

For our exhibition we chose 10 of the most iconic half-length portraits ever painted and we created their bottom halves. The new pieces of art were made matching both style and brush stroke technique of the upper half. The exhibition took place in one of the most exclusive art galleries in Chicago. We crafted a unique branded experience that revealed to the world what was missing from these world-famous masterpieces.
