During apartheid South Africa black people endured a reign of terror from the AWB -a neo-Nazi organisation of white Afrikaners. Today African foreigners experience hatred, abuse and discrimination from mostly black South Africans. The advert therefore likens black xenophobic South Africans to the white racist AWB of the apartheid years.
