“Push It” is the breakthrough and—at the time—controversial 80s hit from rap legends Salt-N-Pepa. The Grammy-nominated track embodies the rebellious spirit and edge of the Flamin’ Hot brand and was perfect for our first-ever brand film. But rather than simply drop the track on our commercial, we instead had our cast of snarky forest creatures recreate the iconic song with diegetic sound using only natural animalistic noises—demonstrating the animals’ comedic transformations into their more rebellious versions of themselves after tasting the Flamin’ Hot snacks.

“Push It” is ranked amongst Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time and was ranked number nine on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop.
