Tom Thum’s “cover” of The Very Cranky Bear reimagined this children’s classic in a way no one had ever heard it before. His incredible acapella production teases out the shared traditions of hip hop and oral storytelling, complete with humorous character voices, beatboxed soundscapes and effects, and a kid-friendly emphasis on cadence and rhyme.
