The film shows a number of dog owners being welcomed by their dogs as they return home. All of the dogs are extremely happy to see their owners back. But in each scene, lettering appears onscreen telling viewers where each owner has been. The first owner is coming back from a deployment. The second owner is coming back from an exchange program. The third owner is coming back from a short trip. And finally, we show the fourth owner being welcomed by his dog at home and reveal that he just came back because he forgot his car keys.
