Execution

By handing out a flyer, we attempted to teach people how to save paper.How did we achieve this?A volunteer from INACAP would stand on a busy street corner, holding only one flyer. He handed out the flyer to each passer-by and walked next to them while they read it. When the person was done reading the flyer he/she would automatically return it to the volunteer. This way we succeeded in educating people in recycling paper in a didactic and concrete manner.This was the flyer’s message: “Every year 12.000 hectares of native forests disappear in Chile. Help us to recycle paper, return us this flyer”.

Outcome

We were able to cover a vast region of our country with very reduced costs, reaching with the campaign a total of 120.000 people, who actually recycled paper, understanding also the important role that this action plays in the preservation of our forests and planet.
