Our challenge was to create just one invitation for two different target audiences. To achieve our goal, we created a single instrument that belongs to two different worlds. We took a significant element of breakdance culture, graffiti art, and fused it with one of the most representative musical instruments in salsa music, the maraca. Out of this combination, the Maraca Spray was born.The information arrived on a stencil. That way, the recipients of the Maraca Spray had to use it in order to reveal the message.
Outcome
100 Maracas Spray were delivered to the top exponents of both genres. With this piece alone, we were able to achieve 100% of the event’s invited participants. At first, this delivery was exclusive to event participants. Soon enough, we used it as an invitation to the press and friends of the brand, obtaining significant coverage on media and social networks. But what’s most important is that we charged and the client paid us for this idea.
