Description

ZigTech is Reebok’s second game-changer product next to the EasyTone range. And after a successful launch in 2010, the brand took the campaign to the next level.

The 2011 ZigTech TV campaign launched on January 30th, with a ground-breaking commercial featuring Basketball star John Wall. In a unique approach merged traditional animation techniques with state of-the-art motion capture technology, to create a film that clearly communicated the product message “ZigTech gives you more energy.” With a technique that delivers authentic motion while maintaining the beauty of hand drawn lines, the athlete’s originality and expression was kept in the animation part, before transitioning into a bold and engaging live-action part in the commercial.And the entire campaign continued the launch in February, with 7 more commercials, to run in more than 27 countries. Featuring the athletes Iker Casillas, Lewis Hamilton, Alexander Ovechkin, Peyton Manning, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, and Amir Kahn. Each portrayed in his specific sports environment, reflecting the unique personality.
