In the hottest parts of the city we placed special vending machines that dispensed 7UP cans with a geolocation chip connected to a drone disguised as an artificial cloud, which was activated, after a can was dispensed and offered a relief with both shade and a small cool sprinkle, to maximize the “refreshness” “of the people who bought 7up.
Execution
To develop these vending machines we first placed a geolocation chip in each 7UP can in the machine. Each can was connected to a drone hidden in the upper part of the vending machine and was released when the beverage was dispensed.
Each drone was composed of water spray and an HD camera built on it , which hovered above those who chose 7UP giving them extra relief. Each drone was inserted into a alum skeleton covered with a high density nylon , which gave the same appearance as a cloud.
The vending machines were placed in strategic points of the city corresponding to areas with the highest registered temperatures and thermal sensation.
We registered all this in a short film case, to amplify the experience in social networks and tv, and reach a larger audience.
