OVERVIEW

Description

To abandon stereotypical images and use modern symbols of Russia.

Execution

Instead of matryoshka, babushka and balalaika, Russia now has a modern tourist logo that combines the universally recognizable outline of the domes of St. Basil’s Cathedral, the English name of the country and an invitation to visit.

The tourist logo exists in full-color, two-color, monochrome and volumetric versions for use in a wide variety of traditional and unusual souvenir products.

Outcome

The logo looks great on advertising materials and souvenirs and attracts attention of tourists. The logo was declared the winner of the Russia tourist logo and slogan contest held by the Federal Agency for Tourism.
