OVERVIEW

Description

The main challenge of this project was to create an innovative packaging for an unparalleled concept: the moment when a couple are at their most intimate. However, great care had to be taken in handling the sensual aspects to avoid anything that was clichéd or vulgar.

Execution

The S. Excès packaging conveys the moment of climax between a couple. The flasks containing the perfumes were inspired by the tongues touching and simulate a kiss or bodies coming together.

The outlines of the perfumes are fluid, with many curves and an organic shape, allowing a perfect fit between them. As the flasks are not intended for vertical display, they play with the imagination and suggest different positions that are always horizontal.

Outcome

The innovative design of the flasks surprised consumers by portraying the moment of intimacy between a couple in a beautiful, delicate way. Another aspect that attracted the consumer´s eyes – or rather nose – were the masculine and feminine fragrances based on oudis, a rare input that takes years before it can be used and is currently regarded as the “liquid gold" of the world perfume industry.
