Pobre Juan is one of the best and most well-known restaurants that specializes in meat in Brazil. There are over 10 units across 6 states. But what people don’t know is that even with such a large chain, Pobre Juan maintains the tradition of handcrafted dishes. After all, for Pobre Juan, meat is sacred. To show this to its consumers, we decided to use an artistic technique that reflects this entire concept. We turned all of the OOH spots available near Pobre Juan units into stained glass. These stained glasses displayed the restaurant’s three specialties: pork, beef and chicken.

After choosing the artistic technique of stained glass, we created the illustrations that showed the restaurant’s three specialties – pork, beef and chicken – in divine poses, to reinforce the fact that, for the restaurant, all meat is sacred. These illustrations were then sent to an artist who used them as a base for creating the stained glass versions. This work of art was done manually to value each of the pieces, something that involved extensive research in order to be as faithful as possible to the great stained glass art that has already been created.
