Context
We all know the story: Santa Claus visits each house on Christmas night and leaves presents for everyone. We all wish it would happen, but we know he’s not real.
Opportunity
It has become a digital habit for users of Swarm by Foursquare to create home venues of their own houses on this app.
Idea
We developed an application inside Swarm that made Santa Claus visit and check-in to these virtual homes on Swarm, moreover, we left inside each of them a present that everyone was able pick up at the Cencosud Bank store nearest to their homes. This way, the dream of Santa Claus leaving us a present inside our homes, became real.
Execution
We created a new media to communicate with our customers through one of the most used social platforms on Perú, reinventing the old classic flyers used to reach customers’ homes.
Outcome
We reached more than 8 thousand homes.
63% of them went to our stores and received their gift.
