OVERVIEW

Description

In this commercial we show a stereotypical, retired couple enjoying a leisurely drive in the mountains. The camera then pulls out to reveal that they’re actually part of museum exhibit. An older man and his grandson look on as he explains what retirement used to look like before it became extinct.

Execution

Australia has a $1trillion dollar superannuation (pension) shortfall, potentially making retirement a thing of the past.

So we created a unique 4-day live event showcasing real retirees as extinct exhibits; the public could interact and learn about what retirement was like ‘in the past’. Housed amongst other relics the installation was placed in the Australian Museum in Sydney, Australia’s oldest museum. The event was also streamed live from saveretirement.com.au
