Hip hop artist Akua Naru pays a verbal tribute to nightlife, celebrating it as the breeding ground for cultural and social progress. Her voice is supported by stills and moving images that take us, the viewers, on a journey through iconic nightlife experiences and cultural scenes across different decades and trends. During the first part of the film Akua’s voice talks about nightlife’s role in shaping culture, fostering creativity, embracing diversity, and helping us find the parts of ourselves that are invisible during the daytime. Followed up by the conclusion that nightlife is too valuable to lose, and the invitation to support the brand’s and the community’s efforts to preserve it.
