In Japan, every school has a song of its own, its called the school
anthem and is sung at pretty much every event that the school has.
There is one thing in common in all the school anthems, its very
classical, in other words, it sounds kind of lame for teenagers. So,
we thought that if we make a rock version of the school anthem, the
teenagers will be curious to know who is singing it.
Outcome
This campaign created a big buzz and Civilian Skunk got more than 50 offers to make their rock versions of school anthems in the first week.
Civilian skunk were able to enhance their awareness and get many offers to sing at school festivals and most of all, their sale were more than 150% more than what they had anticipated.
